Lucknow — In a powerful celebration of intellect, inspiration, and educational leadership, Maharishi University of Information Technology, Lucknow Campus, hosted the much-anticipated “Academic Titans 2025 – Academic Excellence Awards & Felicitation Ceremony”. The event brought together an impressive gathering of over 700 meritorious students and more than 100 educators and school principals from across Lucknow and nearby regions.
The spotlight of the event was on students of Classes 10 and 12, whose exceptional academic performances were honoured alongside the tireless contributions of their teachers and mentors, acknowledging the dual forces behind every student’s success.
Delivering the keynote address, Shraddha Thakur, General Manager of the Reserve Bank of India, Lucknow, urged students to pursue self-reliance, lifelong learning, and inner strength. “Each student carries immense promise,” she said. “All they need is the right direction and unwavering encouragement.”
The event was held in the esteemed presence of Prof. (Dr.) Bhanu Pratap Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the university, and Dr. Ratish Gupta, Director – Corporate Affairs. Both lauded the perseverance and performance of students and appreciated the mentorship of educators who guide them.
Adding further depth to the occasion, Rajeev Upadhyay, Assistant Commissioner of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, highlighted the evolving role of educators, describing them as “true navigators of a student’s educational journey.” His speech emphasized the long-lasting impact of mentoring on young minds.
Dr. Dheeraj Mehrotra, Vice President, Adani Gems Foundation, advocated for innovation in education, urging educators to blend traditional teaching with technology to better prepare students for a fast-changing world.
Throughout the afternoon, motivational speeches and heartfelt tributes to the power of education echoed through the campus auditorium. Certificates of appreciation, trophies, and special mementoes were presented to students for academic excellence, while teachers and principals were also honoured for their invaluable support.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh, in his concluding address, aptly summed up the spirit of the event:
